Green Door Gallery will host Livingston artist,
Aaron Schuerr and his exhibition, Local Color,
for the September 24th art walk. Local Color is a
celebration of our shared landscapes, from the
Spring Creeks of Paradise Valley to the open
range land of the Shields Valley. The show will be up through October 24th.
Aaron Schuerr’s paintings are a testament to
the value of working directly from nature, on
site, in all seasons.
Schuerr has been an artist-in-residence at
Green Door Gallery for the summer of 2021.
Schuerr has been featured in major art
publications in the United States and Europe,
has had work exhibited in museum shows from
New York to California, and has participated in
Plein Air Invitational Events across the country.
He is a signature member of the Pastel Society
of America and The American Impressionist
Society and has been featured on the Kelly
Clarkson Show..
As Schuerr explains, “Local Color can refer to
the quality of green in a meadow, but it is also a
feeling of deep affinity I have for this area.
There is always something new to discover and
to share.”
