  • Eugene Conlon: A Retrospective

    Wheatgrass Books is honored to present Eugene Conlon (1925–2001): A Retrospective, a special exhibition curated by his daughter and Livingston resident, Eugenia Kay. A reception for the exhibit will be held during the 4th Friday Art Walk on August 22nd from 5 pm to 8 pm, inviting the public to experience the work of a prolific American watercolorist whose career spanned over five decades. The show will be on display from August 22nd, 2025 through September 19th, 2025.

    On Saturday, September 20th, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, kids are welcome at Wheatgrass for a fingerpainting extravaganza, making suns that will become joyful signs to pair with our solar sites.On Sunday, September 21st, Wheatgrass Books and Yellowstone Bend Citizens Council (YBCC) will host our unique Livingston version of SunDay, a national celebration of solar and renewable energy. Beginning at Wheatgrass at 1:00, we’ll bike to seven solar sites around town and conclude with a beer at Neptunes.

    The Livingston Fringe Festival was created by Tessa Welch and Kate Britton and takes place September 22 – 28, 2025. Get an all access pass for the amazing line-up of shows happening throughout the week at locations all about town. Wheatgrass Books will host comedian Jennifer Jane for two performances, Thursday the 25th at 6pm and Saturday the 27th at 3pm.
