• Happy Tea: A wild ride of self-discovery and unexpected lessons.

    The Livingston Fringe Festival was created by Tessa Welch and Kate Britton and takes place September 22 – 28, 2025. Get an all access pass for the amazing line-up of shows happening throughout the week at locations all about town. Wheatgrass Books will host comedian Jennifer Jane for two performances, Thursday the 25th at 6pm and Saturday the 27th at 3pm. 

  • Mood and Magic Zine by Lyndsay

    Wheatgrass Books is excited to host author and designer Lyndsay for a special signing and showcase of her heartfelt creation, Mood and Magic Zine, on Saturday, October 11th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

  • Censorship is So 1984 Pub Crawl

    Wheatgrass Books invites the community to raise a glass to the freedom to read at the Censorship Is So 1984 Pub Crawl, part of the bookstore’s 4th Annual Banned Books Week Celebration. The event kicks off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11th at Wheatgrass Books, and will wind its way through some of Livingston’s most beloved bars, where local authors will read passages from banned and challenged books. Readers include: Amanda Fortini, Stacy Peterson, Todd Goddard, Mallory Rice, Todd Goddard, Earl Craig, and Marc Beaudin.

  • Livingston HealthCare Fall Health Fair

    Livingston HealthCare is excited to host its 19th Annual Fall Health Festival on Saturday, October 18, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Park County Fairgrounds in Livingston.

    Wheatgrass Books will host author Danielle Dahl for a book signing on Saturday, November 1st from 11 am to 2 pm.

  • Jim Walker

    Wheatgrass Books will host local author Jim Walker for a book signing on Saturday, November 8th from 11 am to 2 pm. Jim will sign copies of his novella, Bullets in the Sky as well as his book of short stories, Swim. Bullets in the Sky tells the story of a long day and night in which Wiley, a good-natured but somewhat irresponsible college student, and his friend, Twain, who both live in Montana, have to babysit a child and simultaneously meet Wiley’s ne’er-do-well father at a run-down trailer part, His father, Bob Cerulean, has to escape a poker game gone wrong, secure a vehicle from his son, and find some money in a hurry. They meet friends and strangers that both help and complicate their plans in this brief and highly entertaining tale.

  • Book Launch & Reading of Baby Driver

    Wheatgrass Books will host a Book Launch on November 11th at 7 pm with local author, Amanda Fortini, who will be reading and discussing Baby Driver by Jan Kerouac with an introduction by Amanda Fortini. 

  • Women Share Wisdom

    On November 16th from 2 pm-4 pm, local women including Monica Anderson, Bev Axelsen, Kathrine Dunlap, Lill Erickson, Ann Fuller, and possibly more, will be sharing stories and wisdom around the theme: What would I tell my younger self in these times of great change? Come to receive and listen deeply. This little town of ours is filled with the mighty including these women who heed the call to share wisdom. The event is free and ALL are welcome!
